What is the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)?
UTAP is a training support scheme by NTUC that helps eligible members reduce the cost of learning and skills upgrading.
If you are an NTUC or NTUC Starter member, you may receive 50% reimbursement of the unfunded course fee for approved courses and assessments, subject to annual limits.
From 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2028, support also includes selected AI tool subscription fees.
Annual support limits:
- Below 40 years old: Up to $250 per year
- 40 years and above: Up to $500 per year
This annual limit applies to all supported items combined, including courses, assessments, and selected AI tool subscriptions.
